Ergonomic Environmental Design

While natural homes enhance nature rather than detract from it, and it is important to design everything to increase the occupants satisfaction and not to forget that human habitation is the overarching goal of a house Therefore all designs and technologies should conspire to achieve this. One of Le Corbusier's famous designs includes the resting hiker position, as seen in these photos, a beautiful example of human ergonomics in design. As Le Corbusier said, "The house is a machine for living in..." Sustainable homes should use nature to amplify the machinery of the home.
