Living in a recycled home

Where is the line drawn between human structure and natural structure? A white modernist home set against a lush green backdrop certainly looks visually segregated, however what if one takes into consideration the construction of the home? A house made from recycled shipping containers takes a situation of surplus empty steel shells in ship yards and adapts them to use as shelter. Animals in nature do the exact same thing. So while the recycled steel home may seem a contrast from its natural surroundings, it is actually a step back into reintegration with the natural balance.
