Living Space inside the home
Having green plants in every room not only increases the visual appeal of the space, but also has a huge impact on the air quality and health of the occupants. Growing herbs and lettuce in the kitchen can lead to fresher sources of spices and salads and large plants in living rooms can absorb VOCs and convert CO2 to O2. These photos are of a product called WollyPocket, a recycled material that is breathable and water resistant to prevent leakage. Their website: http://www.woollypocket.com/
LG Smart Appliances

The house of the future will intelligently monitor its energy usage to optimize for costs and also raise awareness about household consumption and habits. LG is coming out with a wide range of products sharing a technology for energy management with a convenient motion control device, called the magic remote. It will be interesting to see if other manufacturers of white goods follow.

Passive Annual Heat Storage is essentially taking the excess heat from summer to heat the house during winter, maintaining an average year round temperature that is both comfortable and totally solar powered. It should be the goal of every architect. Here is an architect from Spain named Feliciano Garcia Fernandez is doing invaluable research on the subject in Grenada. See a video on him here: Eco Architect in Spain
More to come on PAHS, an extremely interesting and complex subject.
